The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) has put another exciting night of fights in the books. This time, the mixed martial arts promotion took to Long Island, New York for UFC on FOX 25. Inside the Nassau Coliseum, former UFC middleweight champion Chris Weidman faced off against Kelvin Gastelum for the night’s main event.
Chris Weidman pulled himself out of a three fight losing streak with a third round submission finish over his opponent, putting the fighter in an understandably great mood. However, the fighter was in for a bit of a surprise during the post-fight press conference.
As seen in the video above, Chris Weidman attempts to drink from the Monster Energy drink that has been placed on the UFC table for sponsorship. However, the former champion quickly realized that the can was empty. Weidman then revealed that he was given an empty can inside the octagon as well.
