The highly anticipated boxing match between Floyd “Money” Mayweather and UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor will now have a championship on the line.
On Wednesday, the WBC revealed “The Money Belt” during the final press conference for Mayweather vs. McGregor.
According to the WBC, the belt has 3,360 diamonds, 600 sapphires, 300 emeralds, 1.5 kilograms of solid 24-karat gold, and alligator leather that came from Italy.
In the photos below, you can see the championship that will go to the winner of Mayweather vs. McGregor.
The WBC decided that a championship needed to be on the line for this fight due to both fighters being world champions in their respective sports.
Mayweather will be competing in the 50th fight of his career and will put his perfect 49-0 record on the line against the UFC champion.
McGregor will have an opportunity to win a boxing championship in his first professional boxing match.
Mayweather vs. McGregor will take place Aug. 26 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
