Floyd “Money” Mayweather claims to know what UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor plans to do in their upcoming fight.
On Thursday, during his media day in Las Vegas, Mayweather said he knows McGregor is going to switch stances in their fight, but he doesn’t think that’s a good idea.
Mayweather gave McGregor some friendly advice and told him switching stances is only going to burn his energy.
“He’s going to come out southpaw and he’s going to switch the other way. He’s going to keep switching, but when you keep switching all you’re doing is burning energy,” Mayweather said.
“So let me give him some little knowledge. If you keep switching, you’re burning too much energy.”
McGregor will be fighting in his first professional boxing match when he fights Mayweather later this month.
Mayweather vs. McGregor will take place Aug. 26 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
