Boxing phenom Amir Khan recently offered his thoughts on UFC lightweight champion Conor McGregor facing off against Floyd Mayweather Jr. It would appear that Amir Khan believes Conor McGregor needs to be careful going into a fight with the undefeated boxing legend.
In a recent interview with MMA Fighting, as transcribed by Bloody Elbow, Khan explained “I see a lot of punches hurting [McGregor]. He has a good chin, but if you keep getting hit on that chin, numerous times at the same point … how much punishment can your body take?
“That’s why I’m saying that he needs to think about himself in this fight because if he gets seriously injured, he might not be the same fighter ever again.
“He might never fight again.”
