The UFC has released another one of its fighters, and this time, it’s someone from the heavyweight division.
The UFC has decided to release Polish fighter Daniel Omielańczuk, who is on a three-fight losing streak in the promotion.
Omielańczuk is coming off a decision loss last month to Curtis Blaydes. In March, he lost a split decision to Tim Johnson. His losing streak began with a submission loss to Stefan Struve last year.
Since joining the UFC in 2013, Omielańczuk has earned a 4-5 record in the promotion. His UFC tenure is highlighted by a decision win over Aleksei Oleinik, who is coming off a knockout win over Travis Browne in July.
Prior to joining the UFC, Omielańczuk was on an 11-fight win streak. Today, he has an overall MMA record of 19-8-1.
