The sport’s betting site Bovada already has betting odds for a potential boxing match between UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor and former boxing champion Paulie Malignaggi.
As of today, Bovada has McGregor as a +175 underdog against Malignaggi, despite recent footage coming out of McGregor doing damage to Malignaggi while sparring.
Malignaggi is currently a -225 favorite against the UFC champion.
Malignaggi recently challenged McGregor to a boxing match after shortly joining his training camp. The former boxing champion left McGregor’s training camp after not being happy with the way he was treated. Malignaggi left the camp after photos were released of McGregor landing shot on Malignaggi.
McGregor is currently training to make his professional boxing debut. On Aug. 26, McGregor will fight boxing legend Floyd “Money” Mayweather, who is undefeated in the sport with 49 wins.
Mayweather vs. McGregor will take place Aug. 26 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
