Heavyweight boxing legend Evander Holyfield has shared some advice on how to defeat Floyd “Money” Mayweather.
Later this month, Mayweather will return to the sport of boxing to fight UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor.
In an interview with TMZ Sports, Holyfield was asked what it would take for McGregor to pull off a massive upset and defeat Mayweather.
“You have to rough him up. You have to do something that gets him frustrated and get him in a battle,” Holyfield said. “I think his only chance is if they get into a battle. I think McGregor is good at battling, and I think Floyd don’t get hit much.”
McGregor will be making his professional boxing debut when he steps into the ring with Mayweather. Despite never fighting in a boxing match, McGregor is one of the best knockout artists in the sport of MMA.
Mayweather vs. McGregor will take place Aug. 26 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
