Recently, UFC President Dana White has made negative remarks towards legendary boxing promoter Bob Arum.
White was upset with Arum because he is not a fan of the upcoming boxing match between Floyd “Money” Mayweather and UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor.
Arum responded to White’s comments by insulting him because he is a supporter of U.S President Donald Trump.
“Dana can say whatever he wants, but he hurts his argument by resorting to these comments,” Arum said. “It has nothing to do with senility. And it hurts the position he’s trying to take. But what do you expect? You didn’t see me at the Republican National Convention endorsing Trump. That speaks volumes of somebody. I completely stick by my guns. It’s nothing personal or argumentative, but to have somebody fight the top fighter of our era with someone who hasn’t had one professional boxing match. They’re out of their mind.”
Mayweather vs. McGregor will take place Saturday, August 26 in Las Vegas.
