It would appear that one of the legends of the mixed martial arts community has suffered a tragic accident.
As reported by Middle Easy, professional wrestler and former Pride fighter Yoshihiro Takayama was injured on May 6 during a wrestling match. The wrestler was immediately rushed to the hospital for medical care. Two days later, the MMA legend underwent surgery.
Now, reports are claiming that Yoshihiro Takayama is paralyzed from the neck down. Middle Easy stated, “With the heaviest of hearts, I report that Pride Legend and Pro Wrestling Noah champion Yoshihiro Takayama is paralyzed.”
