Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) middleweight champion Chris Weidman faced off against Kelvin Gastelum in a high strung match up at UFC on FOX 25 in July. The former champion was coming off of a three fight losing streak, making a win more important than ever for the fighter.
Weidman earned a submission finish over Gastelum in the third round, tearing the fighter from his losing streak. Following the event, a photo of Chris Weidman began making its way across the internet. In the picture, Chris Weidman can be seen being punched in the face by his opponent. Weidman’s face ripples from the strike, with saliva spewing from his mouth. All in all, it leaves a pretty funny look on the former champion’s face. Now, it would appear that the humor is not lost on Chris Weidman.
Over Twitter, Weidman posted “This fight game ain’t for everybody. But I love it!” The hilarious image can be seen in the post below.
