Bellator’s Chael Sonnen recently claimed that there may be some merit to the rumors of former UFC light heavyweight champion’s Chuck Liddell’s return to mixed martial arts. Sonnen stated that he may be the UFC Hall of Famer’s next opponent. However, it would appear that Chuck Liddell has not made any plans to face the Bellator fighter.

In a recent interview with TMZ Sports, Chuck Liddell explained that he has not talked to anyone about setting up a match with Chael Sonnen. That being said, the UFC Hall of Famer is confident that he could take on the fighter if a match was made.
