Conor Finally Hints At His Next Opponent, Says It’s The Nate Diaz Trilogy

UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor has hinted as to who he may fight next after he makes his professional boxing debut.

Even thought McGregor is scheduled to fight Floyd “Money” Mayweather on Saturday night, people have been wondering what will be next for McGregor.

On Wednesday, McGregor spoke to the media following the final press conference for his fight with Mayweather. While talking to the media, McGregor hinted that fight with Nate Diaz may be in his near future.

“Things always form,” McGregor said. “Fighters come and rise and create hype. We’ll see. There’s many options. I have a trilogy fight in waiting also, which would be a big fight.”

Even though he doesn’t mention Diaz’s name, Diaz is the only fighter that he has fought twice in the UFC. Both fighters hold a win over the other inside the Octagon.

Mayweather vs. McGregor will take place Aug. 26 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
