Conor McGregor: “If we go 8-oz gloves, Floyd won’t last two rounds”

UFC megastar Conor “Notorious” McGregor is set to take on boxing legend Floyd Mayweather Jr. inside a boxing ring on Aug. 26. With the fight only weeks away, both competitors are making the last of their preparations for the highly anticipated match up. That being said, there may be a slight change to the match up in the near future. If so, Conor McGregor has a new prediction for the fight.

Floyd Mayweather Jr. revealed that he has no issue facing the UFC champion in eight ounce gloves. Now, Conor McGregor has provided his thoughts on facing the undefeated boxer in smaller gloves.

During the recent media day workout, Conor McGregor explained “In my mind, it’s an easy fight. If we go eight ounces, he’s not going two rounds.”

With or without smaller gloves, the two competitors will face off inside the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada on Aug. 26.
