Conor McGregor Plans On Having A 20 Pound Weight Advantage Over Mayweather On Fight Night


UFC superstar Conor McGregor will be stepping into a boxing ring across from boxing legend Floyd Mayweather Jr. on Aug. 26. While the match will be McGregor’s first professional boxing competition, the UFC champion is still plenty confident in his abilities. Now, “Notorious” has provided a reason why.

Following the recent media day open workout, Conor McGregor revealed that he expects to have a 20 pound weight advantage on his opponent come fight night. In the interview, Conor McGregor claims Floyd Mayweather Jr. will show up around 150 pounds, while he will be 170 pounds.

Advantage or no, Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather Jr. will face off inside the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada on Aug. 26.
