UFC Women’s Featherweight Champion Cat Zingano has responded to former title challenger Cat Zingano’s recent call out.
On Monday, Zingano sent out a tweet telling people that “Cyborg” had refused to fight her for the inaugural women’s featherweight title.
Justino ended up not fighting for the first UFC women’s featherweight title. However, the first champion, Germaine de Randamie, was stripped of the championship after she refused to defend the title against Justino.
On Saturday, at UFC 214, “Cyborg” won the vacant UFC Women’s Featherweight Championship after defeating Tonya Evinger by TKO.
After seeing Zingano’s tweet, “Cyborg” sent some insults towards the former bantamweight title challenger.
“Today is Monday can someone remind (Cat Zingano) that she can’t act like it’s 2014 and she is relevant again,” Justino said on Twitter.
“She hasn’t fought in a year, and the last time she won a fight was 3 years ago.”
Today is Monday can someone remind @catzingano that she can't act like it's 2014 and she is relevant again until #flashbackfridays https://t.co/3OA5pZ7taY

She hasn't fought in a year, and the last time she won a fight was 3 years ago…she also turned down fights at #ufc214 #ufcfn95 and #ufc198 https://t.co/q4plPO6tCy

If Cris Cyborg hadn't blocked my on social media, I'd remind her that she declined fighting me for the first 145 belt @ufc #keeptalkinfocker pic.twitter.com/fhjsUxHnsX
