Former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Daniel Cormier wishes Jon Jones would have knocked him out in 10 seconds in their last fight.
Last month, at UFC 214, Cormier lost his UFC title after being knocked out by Jones in the third round of their main-event fight.
On Wednesday, Cormier was the co-host for UFC Tonight for the first time since losing his title.
On the show, Cormier said it would have been better to have been knocked out right away instead of having success before losing the fight.
“If fighting was a nice ex-girlfriend, she would have allowed him to walk out and double knee me and knock me out in 10 seconds,” Cormier said. But no, she had to give me some success before it happened.”
Cormier was successful in his last fight before getting knocked out. On the judges’ scorecards, Cormier had won the second round.
