UFC President Dana White is confident about UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor’s boxing skills.
McGregor is currently preparing to fight in his first professional boxing match.
In just over a week, McGregor is scheduled to fight boxing legend Floyd “Money” Mayweather.
White recently talked to TheMacLife about McGregor first boxing match, and discussed boxing fans not giving McGregor a chance.
“Here’s the reality. Boxing has tried to snub this sport (MMA) for a very long time,” White said.
“The people who think this is going to be this one sided (fight) with Floyd Mayweather they don’t know Conor McGregor yet. The beautiful thing about this is it’s the biggest combat sport ever in the history of combat sports.
“Now, you’re going to meet Conor Mcgregor mother(expletives).”
Mayweather vs. McGregor will take place Aug. 26 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Showtime Sports will air the fight live via pay-per-view.
