UFC President Dana White has shared his thoughts on what took place during Saturday’s fight between UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor and Floyd “Money” Mayweather.
On Saturday, McGregor made his professional boxing debut against Mayweather. Early in the fight, McGregor appeared to be the better fighter and managed to win a few rounds. But as the fight went on, Mayweather gained momentum while McGregor began to fatigue. In the 10th round, Mayweather landed a plethora of strikes that resulted in the referee stepping in and awarding Mayweather the TKO victory.
After the fight, White did an interview with FOX Sports 1 and shared his thoughts on the fight. He said he was proud of McGregor for his performance. White also revealed McGregor was upset following the loss.
