UFC Welterweight Champion Tyron Woodley and UFC President Dana White now appear to be on good terms.
On Saturday, Woodley successfully defended his title against Demian Maia in the co-main event of UFC 214.
For 25 minutes, Woodley didn’t do much besides stop all of Maia’s takedown attempts. Woodley’s latest title defense broke the record for the least amount of strikes thrown in a title fight.
After the fight, White was upset and said some negative things about Woodley’s performance.
Woodley responded by saying White owes him a public apology or he would reveal some dirt he has on White and the UFC.
On Tuesday, TMZ Sports revealed White and Woodley have talked and are now on good terms.
“Woodley and I talked and he said he was just pissed and upset and didn’t mean it,” White told TMZ.
TMZ then reached out to the UFC champion and asked him about his relationship with the UFC figurehead.
“We good,” Woodley said.
