Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) lightweight champion Conor “Notorious” McGregor took a shot at taking over the boxing world last night. The UFC champion made his boxing debut against undefeated legend Floyd Mayweather Jr. for one of the year’s most highly anticipated events. However, things did not end in McGregor’s favor.
After battling for 10 rounds, Floyd Mayweather Jr. earned a technical knockout victory over his opponent, putting the boxer at 50-0. Following the event, UFC President Dana White addressed the media in a post-fight press conference. During the conference, the UFC president was met with many questions concerning McGregor’s ambitious attempt to take over boxing.
