UFC featherweight Artem Lobov thinks former boxing champion Paulie Malignaggi should stop being a diva.
Lobov is a training partner of UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor and was in the gym during the sparring sessions between McGregor and Malignaggi.
After two sparring sessions, Malignaggi left McGregor’s training camp because he was not happy with the way he was treated.
On Friday, Lobov talked about the situation involving McGregor and Malignaggi during McGregor’s media day in Las Vegas.
“A lot of the boxers are divas. They are used to everything being about them, even in camp, you never see boxers training together. It’s always about them,” Lobov said.
“So this has been the first time it hasn’t been about him, and that’s why Paulie acted that way. He just needs to stop being a diva and take it as a man. He was spanked around and he should just admit that.”
McGregor is currently training to fight Floyd “Money” Mayweather. McGregor’s professional boxing debut will take place Aug. 26 in Las Vegas.
