Eye-Witness Says Paulie Isn’t Keeping It #100, Didn’t Get Pushed Down, Got Hit With A 4-Piece And Dropped

It appears former boxing champion Paulie Malignaggi isn’t telling the truth about what happened while sparring with UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor.

Last week, Malignaggi left McGregor’s training camp after being upset over photos that had leaked showing the two sparring. In the photos, McGregor was always shown landing shots on Malignaggi.

In one of the photos, McGregor is standing over Malignaggi while he is flat on the mat. Malignaggi claims that he was pushed down by McGregor after he landed shots and was frustrating the UFC champion.

However, reports are now coming out saying McGregor actually dropped Malignaggi with a combination.

On a recent episode of the SevereMMA Podcast, host Sean Sheehan says he heard McGregor actually dropped Malignaggi. Sheehan is usually joined by Graeme McDonnell on the podcast, but he is filming McGregor’s training camp for Showtime.

“From what I heard, it was a knockdown it wasn’t a push,” Sheehan said. “McGregor hit him with a four punch combination. Put him on the ground. That was it. Paulie called it a push down when it actually wasn’t.”
