Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) heavyweight Fabricio Werdum suffered a grueling majority decision loss to Alistair Overeem at July’s UFC 213. The methodical match was largely met with boos from the crowd, with UFC President Dana White adding some criticism on the fight as well. Now, Werdum has come forward with his own thoughts on the match up.
In an interview with FloCombat, Werdum said “Dana White can say whatever he wants. He’s the president of the UFC. But he’s not the one who’s fighting.”
The fighter then concluded with, “Dana White doesn’t know what we’re feeling in there. He can talk, fans can talk, but I followed my strategy.”
