The sport of MMA can be beautiful and devastating at the same time.
Last Saturday, at UFC 214, UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones regained his title after knocking out Daniel Cormier.
In the third round, Jones landed a clean head kick that rocked the champion. Jones then swarmed Cormier with punches until the referee stepped in and awarded Jones the victory.
Following the fight, Jones, his team, and family, were filled with joy after the fight. At the same time, Cormier and his team were heart broken after losing the UFC title.

This was the second time Jones and Cormier fought inside the Octagon. In 2015, Jones won a decision against Cormier and regained his title.
Later that year, Jones got stripped of his title due to bad decisions outside of the cage. On Saturday, Jones regained the title and won his 11th consecutive UFC title fight.
