Former UFC Welterweight Champion Johny Hendricks is set to make his return to the UFC.
On Nov. 4, at UFC 217, Hendricks is expected to fight undefeated Paulo Borrachinha in a middleweight fight.
Hendricks is currently coming off a TKO loss to Tim Boetsch back in June.
Since moving up to the middleweight division, Hendricks has gone 1-1 inside the Octagon. In his middleweight debut, Hendricks won a decision against former Bellator Middleweight Champion Hector Lombard.
Overall, Hendricks has lost four of his last five fights. Hendricks left the welterweight division following losses to Stephen Thomspon, Kelvin Gastelum, and Neil Magny.
Borrachinha is undefeated with 10 wins. His last two fights have taken place in the UFC. Nine of Borrachinha’s wins have come by knockout or TKO. His only other win came by submission.
UFC 217 will be the second UFC event to take place at the historic Madison Square Garden in New York City. The event is expected to be headlined by UFC Middleweight Champion Michael Bisping defending his title against former UFC Welterweight Champion Georges St-Pierre.
