UFC women’s strawweight Pearl Gonzalez is set to make her return to the Octagon.
At UFC 216, on Oct. 7, Gonzalez is scheduled to fight UFC newcomer Poliana Botelho.
Gonzalez made her UFC debut back in April. She was submitted by strawweight contender Cynthia Calvillo at UFC 210.
Outside of the UFC, Gonzalez was on a six-fight win streak before making her Octagon debut. Her only other loss came in her first professional MMA fight. Gonzalez is a submission specialist with four of his six wins ending with her opponents tapping out.
Botelho is on a three-fight win streak heading into her UFC debut. Overall, she has a 5-1 professional MMA record. All of Botelho’s wins have come by knockout or TKO.
