UFC Featherweight Champion Max Holloway seems to be happy about UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor’s recent comments about him.
On Wednesday, McGregor said he still believes he is the UFC featherweight champion. He also said he dismantled Holloway when the two fought back in 2013.
McGregor won the UFC featherweight title by knocking out Jose Aldo back in 2015. He was stripped of the title a year later due to his lack of title defenses.
After hearing what McGregor said, Holloway went to Twitter and shared his thoughts on what the lightweight champion.
“In other news he’s finally saying something about our fight… finally! Now say my name,” Holloway said in a tweet directed at McGregor.
Holloway won the UFC title in his last fight. At UFC 212, back in June, Holloway defeated Aldo by TKO.
McGregor is scheduled to fight Floyd “Money” Mayweather in a boxing match on Aug. 26 in Las Vegas.
