UFC Featherweight Champion Max Holloway is tired of hearing former boxing champion Paulie Malignaggi talk about MMA.
While talking about the recent boxing match between Floyd “Money” Mayweather and UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor, Malignaggi made a comment about body punches not being used effectively in the sport of MMA.
“Exactly, body punches aren’t really used in MMA though so those fans can’t grasp concept of what those do to a fighter, they cause fatigue,” Malignaggi said.
Malignaggi continued to critique MMA and the use of body shots in the sport until Holloway stepped in and put Malignaggi in his place.
“Paulina please shut your mouth,” Holloway said on Twitter. “I’ll show you something bout body work.”
Due to his bad blood with McGregor, Malignaggi has taken any chance he can get to insult McGregor, even if that means insulting the sport of MMA.
Holloway also has a history with McGregor. In his last loss, back in 2013, he lost a decision to the Irishman. Holloway has won his next 11 fights following that loss.

It's statements like these that show true ignorance about MMA. Ask @BasRuttenMMA about shots to the liver sometime. https://t.co/lCEyIcKyaU
