UFC Women’s Strawweight Champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk may have suffered a broken nose.
Recently, Jedrzejczyk shared a picture of herself with two of her coaches on social media. In the photo, Jedrzejczyk has a bandage over her nose.
It is unknown at this time whether or not the Jedrzejczyk’s nose is broken, but she has sustained some type of injury.
Jedrzejczyk is expected to defend her championship against strawweight contender Rose Namajunas sometime in the near future. The fight has been targeted for UFC 217 on Nov. 4, but the fight has yet to be made official.
Jedrzejczyk last defended her title back in May. At UFC 211, she earned a decision win over Jessica Andrade.
Overall, Jedrzejczyk has had an impressive run as UFC champion. She has successfully defended her title on five separate occasions. Jedrzejczyk has UFC title wins over Carla Esparza, Jessica Penne, Valerie Letourneau, Claudia Gadelha, and Karolina Kowalkiewicz.
