UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones shared a message to his fans, family, and team following his title win.
On Saturday, Jones regained his UFC title after knocking out Daniel Cormier in the main event of UFC 214.
In the third round, Jones landed a headkick that rocked the champion. He then swarmed him with punches until the referee stepped in and stopped the fight.
On Wednesday, Jones shared a picture of himself with his newly won championship along with his team.
“The people you surround yourself with shape your future and help make your dreams a reality,” Jones wrote on his Instagram page.
“I am blessed to work with an amazing team, come home to a beautiful family and have the support of my loyal fans. #TeamJones is back and stronger than ever.”
This is Jones second time winning the undisputed UFC light heavyweight title. He was stripped of the title back in 2015 after being involved in a hit-and-run accident.
