Khabib Calls Out Dana And The UFC, Gives Them His Fight Date

UFC lightweight contender Khabib Nurmagomedov has sent a message to UFC President Dana White telling him when he wants to fight next.

On Thursday, Nurmagomedov sent out a tweet saying he wants to fight at UFC 219 on Dec. 30 in Las Vegas.

Nurmagomdeov has come out in the past and said he will only fight if his next fight is for a UFC title. The lightweight contender was upset after the UFC made an interim title fight between Tony Ferguson and Kevin Lee.

Even thought Nurmagomedov is ranked No. 1 in the official UFC rankings, Nurmagomedov was not put in the interim title fight due to him not being able to fight in October due to an injury.

Nurmagomedov is also on the short list of fighters who could fight UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor in his next fight. McGregor has shown interest in fighting Nurmagomedov in the past.
