It appears UFC lightweight contender Tony Ferguson and Khabib Nurmagomedov are once again booked to compete inside the Octagon.
On Wednesday, Nurmagomedov’s manager, Ali Abdelaziz, revealed the two had a date booked for their next fight while trading insults with Ferguson on Twitter.
Ferguson has posted a video on Twitter and mocked Nurmagomedov for his weight cutting issues during their last scheduled fight.
Abdelaziz responded by saying the time for talk is over since the two have a date to meet inside the cage.
In March, at UFC 209, Nurmagomedov and Ferguson were scheduled to fight for an interim UFC lightweight title, but shortly before the fight was scheduled to take place, Nurmagomedov was sent to the hospital due to issues with his weight cut. As a result, the fight was canceled.
No date has been officially announced for their fight, but it is expected to happen soon. The winner of this fight would be next in line to fight UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor if he decides to return to the UFC.
Keep talking shit punk now we have a date is the talk is over
