After Lengthy Absence, Twitter Feuds And Street Fights, Angela Magana Book A Fight At UFC 218

After not competing in the UFC for over two years, Angela Magana is set to make her return to the Octagon.

At UFC 218, Magana will fight Amanda Cooper in a strawweight contest. UFC 218 will take place Dec. 2 in Detroit.

Magana may be fighting for her spot on the UFC roster. She is currently on a four-fight losing streak and has lost both of her UFC fights. Inside the Octagon, Magnana lost fights to Tecia Torres and Michelle Waterson.

Despite not being active inside the cage, Magana has been active on social media. Earlier this year, Magana was assaulted by UFC Women’s Featherweight Champion Cristiane “Cyborg” Justino at a UFC athlete’s retreat in Las Vegas. “Cyborg” punched Magana at the retreat because the strawweight fighter mocked Justino’s appearance on social media.

Cooper has a 2-3 MMA record with three fights in the UFC. She is coming off a submission loss to Cynthia Calvillo back in March.
