Former UFC Middleweight Champion Luke Rockhold has shared his thoughts on Jon Jones’ failing another drug test.
Rockhold is a teammate of former UFC champion Daniel Cormier. Jones’ failed drug test came from an in-competition sample that was collected the day before his fight with Cormier last month.
At UFC 214, Jones went on to knock out Cormier and win back the UFC title.
On Tuesday, Rockhold shared a photo on Instagram from the weigh-ins for UFC 214. In the photo, Cormier was looking at Jones, but in Rockhold’s photo, he had removed Jones.
“What you see here is the real UNDISPUTED UNDEFEATED CHAMPION. ‘No one else exists’,” Rockhold said on Instagram.
If Jones is found guilty of taking steroids, his win over Cormier will likely be overturned. Jones will also be stripped of his championship, and it may automatically go back to Cormier.
Rockhold is scheduled to fight David Branch in the main event of a UFC Fight Night in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on Sept. 16.
