One of UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor’s teammates has revealed what living conditions are like for McGregor’s sparring partners.
Former boxing champion Paulie Malignaggi left McGregor’s training camp after not being happy with the way he was treated. He left the camp after photos were leaked of McGregor landing shots on the former boxing champion.
Malignaggi also said he wasn’t happy with the housing situation with McGregor’s camp. He said McGregor’s training partners were living in a “crack house.”
McGregor’s teammate, UFC featherweight Artem Lobov says Malignaggi’s claims are inaccurate.
On Friday, during McGregor’s media day in Las Vegas, Lobov said McGregor’s training partners stayed in a nice house. He said it wasn’t a mansion but it was still nice.
Lobov also said the training partners were provided with a car and were delivered three meals a day by a restaurant. On top of all that, they were also paid for helping McGregor prepare for his professional boxing debut.
McGregor will fight boxing legend Floyd “Money” Mayweather on Aug. 26 in Las Vegas.
