Miesha Tate Moves On From Fighter To Fighter Manager

Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) bantamweight champion Miesha Tate has not competed inside the octagon since her unanimous decision loss to Raquel Pennington last year. Now, the former champion is retired from the sport of mixed martial arts. That being said, Miesha Tate has found a new way to contribute to the MMA community.

UFC bantamweight Gina Mazany recently revealed to MMAjunkie Radio what it is like having Miesha Tate as an MMA manager. It would appear that the fighter is quite pleased with the former UFC champion.

As transcribed by MMA Junkie, Mazany said “One thing I love about training with Miesha is that her and I, we’ve trained together. We’ve sparred together. We’ve grappled together. We’ve wrestled together. So she knows what I have to offer, what I have to put on the table. I like it when she’s like, ‘You should fight so and so, I think that would be a really great fight for you.’

“Because she’s experienced – not only with the game and probably a lot of the girls that are currently in the 135 division, but also with me.”
