Heavyweight boxing legend Mike Tyson has nothing but positive things to say about UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor.
Last Saturday, McGregor made his professional boxing debut, and Tyson was impressed with how McGregor looked inside the ring.
“Listen, he’s got a big set of balls just to go in the ring,” Tyson said on Luke Thomas’ radio show.
McGregor eventually lost to Floyd “Money” Mayweather by TKO in the 10th round, but Tyson thinks the fight was stopped early.
“He should’ve went down, the guy stopped it a little too quick,” Tyson said. “McGregor is better than I thought he was as a fighter. I knew he’d get knocked out, but I didn’t think he would last that long.”
Tyson went on to say that he believes McGregor should return to the UFC, but he also said McGregor should continue to compete in boxing if he’s making more money.
“He’s capable of doing anything else. He can do it if he wants to. I would say go back to UFC, but if you get paid more money boxing I would box,” Tyson said.
