The UFC has officially added two more fights to their schedule in September.
On Sept. 16, at a UFC Fight Night in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, two lightweight prospects will get an opportunity to fight on MMA’s biggest stage.
Undefeated lightweight Gregor Gillespie will fight Jason Gonzalez.
Gillespie is undefeated with nine wins. He is coming off a knockout win over Andrew Holbrook back in April.
Gonzalez is coming off a submission win against JC Cottrell back in January.
Former UFC Middleweight Champion Luke Rockhold will fight David Branch in the main event in Pittsburgh.
The UFC has also added another fight to their return to Japan on Sept. 23.
Undefeated flyweight Naoki Inoue will fight Jenel Lausa at a UFC Fight Night in Saitama.
Inoue is unbeaten with 11 wins. He is coming off a decision win over Carls John de Tomas in his UFC debut back in June.
Lausa lost his last UFC fight in April. He is coming off a decision loss to Magomed Bibulatov.
The UFC’s return to Japan will be headlined by a rematch between former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Mauricio “Shogun” Rua and Ovince Saint Preux.
