Betting odds have UFC Middleweight Champion Michael Bisping as the underdog going into his next title defense.
Bisping is scheduled to defend his championship against former UFC Welterweight Champion Georges St-Pierre at UFC 217.
According to the betting site Bovada, Bisping is a +125 underdog, while St-Pierre is a -155 favorite.
St-Pierre has not fought in the UFC for four years. In his last fight, St-Pierre successfully defended his title against Johny Hendricks in 2013. This was St-Pierre’s ninth consecutive title defense. After the fight, St-Pierre relinquished his title and temporarily left the sport.
Bisping has been out of action for the past year. In his last fight, Bisping successfully defended his title after winning a decision against Dan Henderson last October at UFC 204.
UFC 217 will take place Nov. 4. This will be the second UFC event to take place at the historic Madison Square Garden in New York City.
