Before training with UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor, former boxing champion Paulie Malignaggi said he’d be fine with McGregor sharing photos of the two sparring.
On Thursday, Malignaggi announced he was leaving McGregor’s training camp because of photos leaked featuring the two sparring.
In the photos, Malignaggi is on the receiving end of McGregor’s offense. There is even one picture with Malignaggi on the ground with the UFC champion standing over him.
Last month, Malignaggi was asked on Twitter about whether or not he would have a problem with McGregor sharing photos of the two sparring.
“Thats their call, it’s their training camp it’s up to them to post what they feel they want to or should,” Malignaggi said.
Prior to leaving the camp, Malignaggi was helping McGregor prepare for his professional boxing debut.
On Aug 26, McGregor is scheduled to fight boxing legend Floyd “Money” Mayweather at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
