Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) lightweight champion Conor “Notorious” McGregor and former sparring partner Paul Malignaggi entered a heated confrontation today in Las Vegas, Nevada. Now, Paul Malignaggi has provided some insight into the recent scuffle.
Touching down in Las Vegas for his incipient professional boxing debut, Conor McGregor and Paul Malignaggi met face-to-face during today’s Mayweather vs. McGregor press event.
During a media scrum following the incident, Malignaggi told reporters that he was attempting to pull Conor McGregor’s manager aside to speak to him “man to man.” The former boxer then explained that McGregor’s security “liked to overdue their job,” as the fighter claims he was pushed by McGregor’s security. After that, the two fighters entered a heated argument that may be viewed in the video below.
Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather Jr. will face off inside the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada on Aug. 26.
