Boxing phenom Paul Malignaggi recently departed from Conor McGregor’s training camp following a series of released photos from their training sessions. Now, the boxer is letting his opinion on the UFC champion be known.
Recently appearing on Fox 5’s Sports Xtra, Malignaggi explained that he finds Conor McGregor “arrogant.”
As transcribed by MMA Fighting, Malignaggi stated “My problem with Conor is his arrogance.”
The boxer continued, “His arrogance is to the point where he can’t progress. He can’t learn. He just wants a bunch of yes men around him.
“He doesn’t want to be told that he’s doing something wrong. He doesn’t want to be told that he needs to make progress, so that he needs to change certain things.
“Whatever he’s doing, he just wants to be told how great he’s doing.”
With or without Paul Malignaggi’s guidance, Conor McGregor will face off against boxing legend Floyd Mayweather inside the T-Mobile arena in Las Vegas, Nevada on Aug. 26.
