UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor has taken over the world of combat sports.

This weekend, McGregor will compete in one of the biggest fights in combat sports history when he fights Floyd “Money” Mayweather in a boxing match.

Despite this being his first professional boxing bout, McGregor will be fighting to end Mayweather’s perfect 49-0 record.

In order for McGregor to get such a high profiled fight in his first boxing match, McGregor had to first takeover the world of MMA.

McGregor debuted in the UFC back in 2013. In less than four years, McGregor managed to become the most popular fighter in the sport. His knockout power led to him being the first fighter in UFC history to hold two titles at the same time.

McGregor will test his knockout power in the world of boxing when he fights Mayweather on Aug. 26 in Las Vegas.
