Here’s our recap of round 7.
The seventh round started with Floyd Mayweather doing his best to defend against Conor McGregor’s onslaught. As the round went on, Mayweather began throwing punches of his own. When Mayweather would get close, McGregor would hold onto the boxing legend until the referee forced him to let go. Midway in the round, Mayweather began landing clean and hard shots to McGregor’s head. When McGregor would respond, Mayweather would turn around to force the referee to step in. Mayweather went on to land more damaging offense. In the final seconds, both fighters managed to land punches.
