Roxanne Modafferi is once again competing on The Ultimate Fighter, and she picked up an impressive win on the show’s season premiere.
On Wednesday, the 26th season of TUF began on FOX Sports 1. This season, women are competing at 125 pounds. The winner of the tournament will win the inaugural UFC Women’s Flyweight Championship.
Since this season of TUF will crown a champion, the show features a bracket instead of having the coaches pick the fights.
Modafferi received the No. 1 seed in the tournament and fought on the first episode. She competed against the No. 16 seed Shana Dobson.
Dobson looked good early in the fight and managed to land some good shots, but eventually, Modafferi got the fight to the ground and earned a TKO victory.
