On Sept. 23, the UFC will return to Japan with a UFC Fight Night event full of intriguing matchups.
In the main event, former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Mauricio “Shogun” Rua will fight Ovince Saint Preux in a rematch.
In their first fight back in 2014, Saint Preux earned the biggest win of his career when he defeated “Shogun” by TKO.
Since that fight, Rua has been unbeaten inside the Octagon. He is currently on a three-fight win streak, which is his longest win streak since joining the UFC in 2007.
In the co-main event, two former title challengers will collide when Claudia Gadelha fights Jessica Andrade in a pivotal battle in the women’s strawweight division.
