UFC Bantamweight Champion Cody Garbrandt appears to have the statistical advantage going into his next title fight.
According to Fightnomics, Garbrandt has many advantages over former UFC Bantamweight Champion TJ Dillashaw when it comes to fighting statistics.
Garbrandt’s first advantage comes from being the younger fighter. At age 26, Garbrandt is five years younger than his upcoming opponent.
Garbrandt will also have other advantages when it comes to striking and grappling.
The current champion has a higher accuracy rate at landing both jabs and power punches to the head. Garbrandt also has a higher defensive percentage when it comes to avoiding punches to the head.
When it comes to grappling, Dillashaw has higher statistics when it comes to being active on the ground. However, Garbrandt has higher takedown accuracy and takedown defense percentages.
