Teammate and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu coach to Conor McGregor, Dillon Danis is set to make his next grappling performance. Set to face off at Polaris 5, Dillon Danis will be taking on Garry Tonon in an attempt to redeem himself from a recent loss. Having suffered a defeat to Jake Shields at Submission Underground, Danis will now be throwing down Aug. 19.
In anticipation for the event, Dillon Danis and his opponent Garry Tonon held their weigh-ins today. After the fact, Danis and Tonon entered a heated stare down, in which the fighters were ultimately separated. The intense moment may be viewed in the video above.
Danis’ teammate and UFC champion Conor McGregor is set to take on Floyd Mayweather Jr. inside a boxing ring on Aug. 26 in the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada for what may become the payday of his career.
