People have not been kind to former boxing champion Paulie Malignaggi since the footage was released of him sparring with UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor.
Malignaggi had two sparring sessions with McGregor before he left the training camp. The former boxing champion wasn’t happy with the way he was treated and decided to leave.
Malignaggi wasn’t happy with McGregor after photos were released that showed McGregor standing over Malignaggi while he is flat on the mat.
Malignaggi says he was pushed down by McGregor, but after seeing the sparring footage, many people believe he was knocked down by the UFC champion.
Since the sparring video was released, people have made memes and have altered Malignaggi’s Wikipedia page. Below, you can see how people have been having fun at Malignaggi’s expense.
McGregor is currently training to fight Floyd “Money” Mayweather in his first boxing match. Mayweather vs. McGregor will take place Aug. 26 in Las Vegas.
