UFC heavyweight prospect Francis Ngannou will get his biggest test in the UFC next month.
At UFC 215, Ngannou will fight former UFC Heavyweight Champion Junior dos Santos.
Dos Santos is currently ranked No. 4 in the official UFC heavyweight rankings, while Ngannou is ranked No. 5.
Dos Santos is coming off a knockout loss to UFC Heavyweight Champion Stipe Miocic back in May.
With a win over Dos Santos, Ngannou could find himself next in line for an opportunity at the heavyweight title.
Ngannou is on a nine-fight win streak and is unbeaten in the UFC. In his last fight, Ngannou defeated former UFC Heavyweight Champion Andrei Arlovski by TKO in the first round.
UFC 215 will take place Sept. 9 in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
In the main event, UFC Flyweight Champion Demetrious Johnson will defend his title against Ray Borg.
In the co-main event, UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion Amanda Nunes will defend her championship against Valentina Shevchenko.
